Data Parsing
Responsible for file converter and CG visualization in Houdini

​​Python program that can retrieve motion capture data from a“.txt” file, and translate it into point information to manipulate in Houdini.

The UI for application was programmed with Tkinter. The interface allows to compress the data from 120 frames per second to 24 or 30. And missing frames may be replaced with an intermediate value. The program will generate a new folder if it does not exist, and write the files in that location.

The CG visualization in Houdini consisted in copying spheres to the point locations, and emitting smoke.
